Interested in a grant or fundraising help from the The DanO Fund?
We’re passionate about helping nonprofit mental health organizations. We look forward to hearing from you.
We raise funds to give to nonprofit organizations that offer mental health services, resources and education. The DanO Fund doesn’t provide mental health programming itself, but we’re passionate about helping nonprofits that do.
We offer two kinds of support to nonprofits:
Over the last decade, we’ve donated funds to mental health nonprofits, to help them maintain and grow their programming.
Since The DanO Fund was established in 2009, we’ve held numerous fundraisers. We’re passionate about teaming up with mental health nonprofits to share our expertise and help them launch their own successful fundraisers. This help is free, but you need to apply.

The Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) was established in January 2021 to safely connect people living with or experiencing mental illness, chemical dependency or homelessness to services that can help. BHU launched under the command of Sergeant Max Yakovlev to meet the unique service needs of those experiencing behavioral health challenges in the community. We do this in partnership with Dakota County Social Services.

You’re not alone, and help is available. The DanO Fund itself doesn’t provide mental health services, but we’re glad to recommend some trusted organizations that do.
